Longer opening hours

Starting from the 16th March Bay Vet Group’s Dawlish branch will be open from 8am until 8pm.  This will give you more flexibility in booking appointments and allow us to improve the level of care and service we can offer you and your pets.  We will also shortly be opening our Torquay and Paignton surgeries until 8pm as well.

Out of hours

As part of these changes we are pleased and excited to announce that from 16th March 2020, our out of hours emergency work will be handled by MiNightVet based at Dart Vale Vets in Totnes and EVES based at Exeter St Davids Veterinary Clinic soon to be re-branded MiNightVet.  The clinic will be staffed by its own dedicated team and will be working on our behalf to deliver emergency care to your pet.  The big advantage to this is that there will be a vet and nurse dedicated on site all night to attend to the care of your animal.

The MiNightVet service will run from 8.00pm untill 8.00am Monday to Friday and Saturday and Sunday from 7.00pm until 8.00am. During these times all calls to our normal number will be redirected to the MiNightVet service where you will have the option to attend the Exeter or Totnes Clinic.

The move to introduce a dedicated Out of Hours service, was a decision made jointly by our directors, in order to ensure your pets receive only the highest standard of care 24 hours a day.  We will continue to deliver all our in-patient care as usual with a nurse and vet assigned to in-patient checks.  We hope that this change in the way that we work will deliver the highest standard of care to your pets.
