About the Role

We’re looking for an experienced small animal veterinary surgeon to join our growing team, with the potential to take on a branch lead role. You’ll have access to:

• State-of-the-art equipment: CT scanner, digital X-ray, quality ultrasound (including Doppler), full IDEXX lab, endoscopy, laparoscopy, and excellent surgical facilities.
• A strong clinical support network: Certificate holders in cardiology, dermatology, small animal surgery, ophthalmology, and dentistry working alongside a Clinical Committee
• Ongoing development: Regular clinical meetings, supportive management, and mentorship opportunities for career growth.

About You

You’ll be a compassionate, proactive, and adaptable vet who thrives in a busy clinical setting. You value continuous learning, bring a positive, team-oriented mindset, and are committed to delivering excellent care to both clients and their pets.

Essential Criteria

• MRCVS-qualified and eligible to work in the UK (visa sponsorship available)
• 4+ years’ experience in small animal practice
• Confident in routine surgery and general medicine
• Excellent communication and client rapport skills
• Committed to high clinical standards and patient care
• Comfortable working independently and collaboratively
• Willing to join a 1:4 Saturday rota

Desirable

• Interest or experience in a clinical specialism
• Certificate holder or working towards a postgraduate qualification
• Experience mentoring junior vets or leading a team
• Familiarity with advanced diagnostics/surgical tools (e.g. CT, laparoscopy)
• Interest in fear-free or low-stress handling techniques
