Caring

I have lost two dogs in the last 12 months. Both due to cancer.

Bay vet group have been amazing, professional, kind, caring and unstinting in the time given to our grieving. I could not have asked for a better end of life for my beloved pets.

Thank you to everyone from the receptionists, the nurses and the vets Rosanne and Rod.

Very Impressed

I have been with Bay Group for over 15 years with several pets and have never been dissatisfied with the service. All staff have been friendly, caring, knowledgeable and professional. I would have no hesitation in recommending them to any pet owner.

First visit

Our first visit to register our dogs with the Dawlish Practice. from entering the practice to seeing our vet it was a great welcome a young lady came and asked were they allowed a treat to going down and speaking with both dogs so we know the dogs had no fear of going to the vets.

Then Mr Carr examined both dogs and discussed Shadows ear problem a great introduction and for the dogs also both still nervous as they are rescue dogs who have both had a really hard life.

The were both really happy when leaving as we have had real problems with them both being anxious about men we explained this to the vet and he couldn’t have been kinder to them a happy visit for both dogs and ourselves from Receptionist to vet wonderful so happy to be joining this group.

Compassionate Vets

Brought my nearly 8 year old dog into this vets after he was suffering from constipation. Received some intervention and laxatives to use for a few days. Unfortunately this did not solve the problem and he was later diagnosed with a large lump blocking his colon and there was no other option but to have to euthanise are beautiful Bailey.

The way the Dawlish practice handled this from the initial appointment to the last one was full of compassion and care for him and I can only offer my upmost thanks for the way the handled this situation. We were obviously devastated to lose him so suddenly and to then receive a phone call from Jane the vet a couple of days later and a card from the practice was above and beyond and shows they really care about our pets well being.

Thankyou from all of our family.

Kindness

As a family we were faced with the impossible dilemma of life versus quality of life. We made the most difficult decision to let our beloved Pug gently go to sleep. The experience was heart breaking however the compassion, kindness and sense of empathy shown by the vet and the lovely Charlotte and Cara at Dawlish surgery was above and beyond.

Rest in Peace Pugley x

Bay Vets

Brilliantly helpful when my dog got fishing hooks in her mouth and leg, responded immediately, such a relief especially in covid-19 lockdown. Very professional and reassuring, so glad that I had registered them here when we moved, thank you Alice and your team from Elaine, Graham and Mayhem (Chaos is hoping not to meet you just yet!!)

Amazing team

On halloween we had to do the hardest thing we have ever had to do,say good bye to our labrador. our 13 year old labrador Bella had cancer that had spread so quick that one minute she was her normal self the next she was so unhappy. The team at dawlish were ALL so amazing and helped us through everything. They have always got the pets best interests at heart and will always give help or advise when asked. Thank you so much.

Treated with the utmost care

We swapped to Bay Vet Group Dawlish branch for our beloved dog Bisley as we had been unhappy with the treatment he had received at his previous vets. From the very first visit we and Bisley were shown the very best care. We were listened to and were given superb advice which made his last few years far happier and more comfortable. After he started having seizures we presumed we had lost him but were reassured that he would come back to us - and he did. And thanks to the care he was given we enjoyed an extra 11 wonderful, fun filled and happy months with him as his condition was superbly managed. Yesterday it was time to say goodbye and we couldn't have asked for a more considerate and loving experience. Danielle was wonderful with him and he slipped away peacefully, free of pain and surrounded with love. It was all any of us could have asked for. We cannot thank Bay Vets enough - all the staff and vets who saw us and Bisley. You made the last few years and months we had with him so much better. We are so very grateful to you all.

A massive thank you to all the staff at Bay vets

A massive thank you to all the staff at Bay vets. You treated my rabbit (Walter) in his time off need, I can’t highly recommend you enough. He has made a full recovery and this wouldn’t be possible without you. He is a very important family member and I felt you took into consideration all the aspects of the situation and what course of treatment would be best for him. your duty of care was outstanding.

True Angels

No amount of words can describe how you looked after our sweet boy Colby - we were on holiday and completely lost and devastated but the ladies on reception and vets couldn't do enough for us and dealt with our sad loss, even down to sorting out the ashes for us, you are true angels for all of our beloved pets, thank you x

First Class Service

Thank you to the staff at Bay Vets Dawlish for what I can only say is a first class service. Having called the emergency service on 29th June 2018 after my best friend Daisy collapsed on the beach, I spoke to Dr Jonathan Carr who did everything possible to save her unfortunately she did not pull through, but I feel re-assured that she was in the best place with the best possible care. I would like to say thank you to all concerned and also the sympathy card is a really nice gesture.
