Took Hamish today a very old British Shorthair cat at the be of life as an emergency.

The vet was fantastic - and Hamish was put to sleep and allowed us time in a very caring way

Will be changing to Bay vets in future

We were treated with great care and compassion when we took our dog Buddy in after suddenly losing the use of his legs and in significant pain. We got an appointment to go in straight away which is always an unknown as we've only ever attended for routine vaccination before. The vet patiently and clearly explained all the options to us while making sure Buddy was comfortable.



Buddy was put to sleep calmly and caringly and we were supported throughout. A week later we received a beautiful card in the post.

I can honestly say the most amazing vets for both our cats, especially our cat tiger. They have saved her life more times then i can count and know exactly what to do when we call, they check in on her regularly and i cannot be more grateful for wverything we do, they are absolutely amazing, me, our family, tiger and buster love you all xx

I wanted to write my heart felt thank you. I haven’t been registered with the practice for my animals. But, my beloved cat came to the end of her years this week. She has always been so anxious and hated car rides and we live close by to this practice. So I rang in a bit of state to ask if they would kindly see us for her to be kindly put to sleep as she had taken a turn for the worse. Despite having no appointments and us not being with them. They kindly found a time and a vet asap for us to come in. They handled us with compassion and care immediately. I cannot thank them enough for making a truly devastating choice easier to tolerate. I am forever grateful. To Sara the manager and the kind and compassionate vet I am so so thankful.

Unfortunately we have needed to bring both our cats for treatment as they have been unwell.

The service and care from the team has been excellent. It has been easy to get an appointment, blood results are always phoned through to us and explained thoroughly. One cat needed a scan and this was carried out in a timely manner and results clearly explained.

This is definitely the best vet we have used in the 30+ years of having cats and living in different locations.

We are new to this area and I would have no hesitation in recommending this vet practice.

On Wednesday our 12 week old Yorkshire Terrier had her appointment for her vaccination. This was only our second visit to Bay Vet Group in Paignton.

I received the best surprise ever in meeting our vet Dan. Dan was just impressive!!

Through the last 34 years we’ve had many dogs and vets. But NEVER EVER have I come across a vet like Dan!

Timi is so little and Dan spent ages to get her comfortable and making friends with her before he did anything else. Timi got so relaxed she settled down to have little sleep on the table. And even when Dan started his examination of Timi, he was super careful and allowed her to sniff things out and explore. I could not believe the gentleness in this man!

I can’t thank Dan enough for making this vet visit such a pleasant experience for Timi. Dan has won our hearts and I’m not sure we ever want to see anyone else! Whatever Dan is being paid to do his job, he deserve even more and a medal!!

Timi didn’t even wimper or flinched when she got her vaccination. We walked out there calm and happy with the world!

Attending a vet appointment with a poorly pet is always daunting and angst inducing but doing this with a dog who has suffered historic trauma makes the event even more challenging and can make it harder to successfully treat the patient. Today our vet Dan showed considerable patience and compassion to one such dog. He didn't rush the consultation and he sought guidance as to how best to proceed throughout the appointment. He went to great measures to minimise the stress involved. Dan's approach meant that our dog could be treated with minimal anxiety and without pain, all while avoiding the need for sedation. As a behaviourist, this is exactly how you hope to be met with a traumatised dog. I'm so grateful for Dan today.

Took Buster-Billy for his booster jabs today.usually always see Emily. Today we met Iris. She was a star.talked to Buster-Billy, was so gentle and reassured him, Took her time with him. Thank you Iris you were amazing ,♥️♥️

My dog was booked in to have a castration after having the implant for six months and the veterinary team were just incredible. I was a little nervous about leaving my dog and him having surgery but the vet Emily made me feel at ease and explained everything to me. I want to say a massive thank you to Emily and Danica for there friendly and caring nature towards myself and my boy. I can tell that the staff really do care for the animals and treated Albie as there own. So thank you to all the veterinary staff ♥️ my boy is recovering well.

Having just moved to the area my 13year old cat wasn’t well or eating I rang up and they got me an appointment right away sadly my poor cat had to be put to sleep 🥲

I can honestly say they where amazing the compassion and care they shown was outstanding

I received a sympathy card few days later which was very thoughtful of them I would definitely highly recommend this practice who go above and beyond

I have elderly cats that suffer from age related issues and these wonderful people treat them so kindly.

The cats are never stressed by their visit.



Cannot recommend highly enough

Just want to say how amazing one of your vets Harry has been when my dog had an eye ulcer. He really did go above and beyond to help us through our long but successful process. Nothing was to much hassle and Harry was always good on talking us through everything that was happening. Really couldn't recommend him enough!!

Just wanted to say a massive thank you to the vet we saw on the 25/08/2022 I think his name was Dan. He really took the time to check over Effie who is our rescue French bulldog with a lot going on. You could tell Dan really wanted to help and cared about Effies wellbeing. I feel like we are finally getting somewhere after months of scratching and licking.

Yesterday we had to take our very old cat with a badly bro ken back leg to Bay Vets and we just wanted to say a big thank you to all the staff for their care a sensitvity ❤️ thank you Bay Vets you are amazing! Marisa and Ron Coxhead.

Tiday recieved a card from bay vuew regarding our jack russell milly who sadly was put to sleep friday thank you for caring so mych for us humans to as well as our beloved fury 4 legged family members ...

Sadly this morning our beautiful loving jack russell milly was put to sleep thank you emily for being so kind as it was heartbreaking for us .after severals days of getting poorly .she was cared for at bay view paignton and was so looked after by selena .sarah .luca leanne and sara and all the othe fabulous members if staff thank you so mych for making her comfortable as pissible this week and allowing us that time with her we are heartbroken but the care you all gave was amazing and kind we cant thank you enough

It's been a week now since bringing Daisy to you to say goodbye and send her peacefully over the Rainbow Bridge.

We would like to thank all those staff, who were kind and understanding and looked after her in her last moments.

Special thanks for the forget me not card that arrived this morning, it's greatly appreciated.

Had to take our lovely 15 year old Jack Russell, Max, over the bank holiday to be put to sleep. It was a very upsetting time for me and my husband. All the staff were very helpful, respectful and compassionate throughout our visit and again when we went back to collect his ashes. We were very pleased with the overall service at what was an upsetting time. I was too upset at the time to express my sincere thanks, hence my review.
